Registered with wrong ticket type
A guest registered under the wrong ticket type. Does he need to cancel and reregister with correct ticket type? Or can I change that on the back end and charge the difference through stripe?

Thank you for reaching out!
For ticketed events, the ticket type selected during registration cannot be changed from the backend once the registration has been submitted. Because of this, the best approach would be for the guest to cancel their current registration and register again using the correct ticket type, and you can refund the original charge.
