Is there an "approve before confirmation" workflow integrated yet? (RSVPify's Registration Approval Mode)
So, we used a 2-step registration process for our event recently, since external attendees must request an invitation (we internally approve or deny guests)... if approved, then they go to actually register/get their tickets. Currently, we use Jotform to request, and then RSVPify to register once approved. We are needing a platform that can handle both our approval-based registration request and the actual ticket/registration step.
Based on my quick research, it said I should be able to run our “request → internal approval → paid registration” flow inside RSVPify without using Jotform.
Guests would submit their registration (fill out forms), their status becomes Pending Approval, we get notified and approve/deny from the Attendee Dashboard. Then, they'd receive confirmation and can complete payment.
We also use comp codes, and I beleive we can manually assign comp codes after approval in RSPVify, vs just emailing them with which comp code to use (this caused multiple refunds this year by not having the RSVPify integration). Is it in the higher tiers that allow this?

Hello there!
Thank you for explaining your workflow so clearly , that helps a lot.At this time, RSVPify does not have a built-in, automated “request → internal approval → then unlock payment” system within a single event flow.
There isn’t a native feature where a guest submits a request, remains in Pending Approval, and is then automatically prompted to complete payment only after you approve them.
However, there is a structured workaround many organizers use:
• Create one event strictly as a “Request to Attend” form (no ticketing enabled).
• Adjust the wording on that form to clearly reflect that submission does not guarantee registration and that approval is required.
• Internally review submissions and approve or deny manually.
• For approved guests, send them a private invitation link to a second event that contains the actual ticketing and payment step. This keeps everything inside RSVPify without needing Jotform, but it does require two event pages rather than a single automated approval pipeline.
Regarding comp codes:
On Business/Professional tiers, you can create and manage discount or comp codes, including 100% off codes. You can also control usage limits. However, comp codes are still manually distributed , there isn’t an automatic system that assigns a comp code to an approved guest behind the scenes.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other issues or questions. We are happy to help! The two-event structure above is currently the cleanest solution within RSVPify.
