Set deadline to RSVP for secondary event only
Is it possible for me to set an event deadline for my secondary event only? Like leave the option to RSVP for the party open, but close the option for them to RSVP for dinner after a certain date.
Thanks in advance for any assistance with this.

Hi there,
Great question , this is a very common scenario.
RSVPify does not support setting separate RSVP deadlines within a single event. The RSVP deadline applies to the event as a whole, not to individual options or sub-events (such as dinner vs. party).
That said, there are two common ways to handle this depending on how you’d like to manage it:
Option 1: Use two separate events (recommended)
The cleanest approach is to create two events:
One event for the dinner, with its own RSVP deadline
A second event for the party, with a later (or no) RSVP deadlineYou can then control exactly when dinner RSVPs close while keeping party RSVPs open. This also makes guest management and reporting much clearer.
Option 2: Manually manage the dinner option
If you prefer to keep everything in one event, you would need to manually manage this by:
Closing or hiding the dinner-related question after your cutoff date
Or monitoring responses and manually adjusting guest selections after the deadlineThis option works, but it does require hands-on management and doesn’t automatically prevent late dinner RSVPs.
So in short, it’s not possible to set an automated deadline for only one part of an event, but using two events is the most reliable and recommended solution.
