(Urgent!) Clarification on Platinum Plan and Tagging/Custom Questions/Invites for different events

Hi! I am having a wedding event, but they are spread out into 2 different events (in different countries entirely). Let's called them Event 1 and Event 2. Note that Event 2 has multiple ceremonies (i.e. Event 2A, Event 2B, etc.)

I would like for my guests to have a single link to sign up for the wedding (across both events). I wish to tag guests who are (1) invited ONLY to event 1, (2) invited ONLY to event 2, (3) invited to BOTH events 1 and 2.

Here is the other complication, Event 2 will have multiple ceremonies, which I will allow my guests to pick from. However, some guests will see (the same) subset of ceremonies, while other will see all of them (essentially have 2 groups/tags of people invited to Event 2), so I would like to customize the question where I ask which ceremonies they can attend. Now I am sure that I can just have way more tags to account for all these possibilities. However I am not sure of:

1. The way I should structure this in RSVPify (should this be 2 events, which makes logical sense, but then I would need to send 2 different invite links to those invited to both. I want to see if I can do it with one invite link). Or I can make this a single "Event" and have many possible tag combinations to account for it all. The issue with this second option is that my total guest list will exceed the maximum of 500 as stated in the Platinum plan.

2. Does the platinum plan have the ability to support this? Like can it handle "Custom Questions via Tagging"? From the "pricing" page, it seems like it does not even have that feature as part of the Platinum plan? If that is the case, then I cannot split my guests into the different ceremonies for Event 2.

Could you kindly help me figure out what my best option/plan should be? I cannot afford anything more than the platinum plan (business plans are too expensive for a personal event). Thank you!

  This is possible on the Platinum plan, as long as it’s structured correctly.

  Important clarification up front: Platinum does support conditional custom questions based on tags for personal events, and the 500-guest limit applies per event, not per tag or per question.

  Recommended structure

  Use one single event, not two.
  If you create multiple events, you’d need multiple RSVP links. A single event allows you to use one link while controlling access with tags.

  How to handle your setup

  • Tag guests as:

    • Event 1 only

    • Event 2 only

    • Event 1 + Event 2

  • Use tag-based question visibility to show:

    • Event 1 attendance questions only to Event 1–invited guests

    • Event 2 attendance questions only to Event 2–invited guests

  Multiple ceremonies in Event 2

  You can create custom questions that appear only to specific Event 2 tags, each with different ceremony options (e.g., limited vs all ceremonies). This avoids needing excessive tag combinations and is supported on Platinum.

  Guest limit

  As long as your total unique guest count is under 500 in this single event, you’re within Platinum limits.

  Summary:
  Platinum supports your use case, one event + smart tagging is the correct approach, and you do not need a Business plan.
