    Hello Angelica,

    Thank you for reaching out!

Great question, this is a really common point of confusion, so you’re not alone 😊

Here’s how those numbers work and where to find the best headcount for planning:

    • Invitee list / “Guests on List” (80) = everyone you’ve added, whether they’ve responded or not

    • Attendee / Check-In / Review Attendance (40) = guests currently counted for event-day check-in, not total planning headcount

For food and capacity planning, the best place to look is:

    Event Dashboard → Reports→ Overview

    From there:

    1. Filter by RSVP Status = Attending

    2. Make sure you’re looking at the total quantity, especially if plus-ones are enabled

    This view includes:

    • Guests who RSVP’d “Yes”

    • Guests you manually marked as attending

    • Plus-ones and guest quantities

The Check-In and Review Attendance lists are meant for day-of tracking, so they often show a lower number than your true expected headcount.

Hope that helps ,happy to clarify further if needed!
