Limiting Number of Add-On Guests per Invitee
Hi there,
I wanted to ask if there’s a way to limit the number of add-on guests that each invitee can include when submitting their RSVP. I’ll be sending physical invitations that include a QR code directing guests to the RSVP site, and I’d like to control how many additional guests each person can bring.
Thank you for your help.

Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out!
That’s a great question! Yes, you can control how many additional guests each invitee can bring when submitting their RSVP.When setting up your event, you can define the guest allowance for each invitee directly from your Invite List. By adjusting the “Number of Additional Guests” field, you can specify exactly how many people each guest is allowed to include with their RSVP. This ensures that invitees can only register the number of guests you’ve assigned to them.
If you’re sending physical invitations with a QR code, guests will be taken directly to their personalized RSVP form, which will automatically apply these guest limits.
This setup is perfect for managing attendance and keeping your event capacity under control while maintaining a smooth RSVP experience for your guests.
Please let me know if you’d like me to walk you through the steps to update these settings!

How can I assign RSVP capacity limits to specific sponsor groups? I need each sponsor to have a fixed number of allowed RSVPs, based on tags or invite list grouping, but I don’t see any way to set per-group RSVP limits. Does RSVPify support limiting RSVP counts by group or tag, and if so, where is that feature?

Hi Sergio,
Thank you for reaching out!
Since you’re using an invite list, the only way to set attendance limits for each sponsor group is by assigning Additional Guests Allowed to each sponsor on the invite list. Here is a helpful article that can guide you through this process: How to allow guests a +1 or +X
When a sponsor goes in to RSVP, they’ll be able to register only for themselves and the exact number of additional guests you’ve allowed. For example, if you set their “additional guests” to three, they can RSVP for themselves plus three guests only.
Best,
