Can I add a text box to a drop down list?

I've created a drop down list for food allergies.  There is a selection for "other".  Is it possible to have a text box pop up if someone selects "other" in the drop down list?

  In order to have the "other" option offer a text field when selected, you would have to use a "select one" custom question block type. You can learn more about that here: Custom Questions
