Image size issue

I am working with 4 images 2000X1830 px.  I have tried using both cover block and image block.

If I use image block and use only 1 image, it is showing properly in both desktop/web and mobile. But if I add more images, the block height reduces and the picture is cropped.  Is there a way to fix it?

I have also tried adding the same images to cover block. With cover&zoom, scale down format, desktop view removes portions from image bottom. If I use fit&scale, desktop view looks good. but mobile view is skewed. 

How can I fix this problem?

  The best option here would be to use an "image" block instead and set the image height to a custom size for all images so they don't get cut off at the bottom. This should also adapt to the mobile device preview.

  it does not adapt when shown on the phone. just stretches so the picture is wonky
