    Thank you for reaching out. Happy to clarify!

    Events pass on to the "Past events" tab automatically after the registrations for the event have been closed for more than 7 days or if the event date is set in the past. However, this does not change anything for your invitees on the front end, it's just a backend setting visible to you as the event host. That said, to move your event back to "Current" events you would have to open the registrations for your event again or change the event date to one in the future in Setup> Event Settings> Event Details.

    As for closing the event registration, they will be automatically closed by the system only once you reach your RSVP limit and your billing period after cancelation passes.
