Difficulty with couples invitees

For some reason the couple's button will not work for me. I have resulted to doing them together, but I am afraid that they will not be counted right. Help! What am I doing wrong?

  I had a chance to look into your event and it seems like you've imported your invitees incorrectly by adding 2 first names to a single first name field. We strongly recommend that each invitee is added in their own row of your import spreadsheet, and grouped together. This will ensure the proper function of the RSVP system, and that any member of a given family (or couple) can enter their name, and successfully bring up their invitation. It also ensures proper count of guests and any plus ones you may wish to offer. This guide can help you out with that: How do I import my Invite List from a spreadsheet?

  Please do note that email address is fully optional. You only need to add an email address to one or more members of a family if you intend to send email invitations using RSVPify. You can include an email for any family member, and the whole family (group) will be asked to RSVP when following the link.
