My email won't stop pending after I hit send

I have tried this at least 5 times. I set my email to send and it's gets stuck in pending for at least an hour. Then I've been deleting the email and starting again.

Please help.

  Hi Crhistina!

  The email queue depends on the email traffic, but the pending time usually lasts a few minutes until the system automatically approves it. That said, your email should be sent out by now!
