How do I make my event private?

I just created an event and I'm wondering if I can make my event private so only those I allow can register before I move on. Thanks in advance!

  You can easily do that by importing an invite list to your event. Once you do that, the system will ask you whether you'd like to make your event invite-only so only those on the list can register or keep it "Public". This guide can help you import your invite list:
