Adding registrations to invitee list

I have an event with an invite list of 622 people.  It is a public event so anyone who has the event URL can register..  It seems that people that register who are not on the original invite list are not added to the invite list.  Is this the way it is supposed to work?  Is there a way to automatically have them added?

  Thank you for bringing up your concern. I'd be glad to clarify how our system works.

  You are correct; the behavior you described is intentional. The invite list is specifically designed to track responses from the original list of 622 people you invited. If someone registers for the event using the event URL but wasn't initially on your invite list, they won't be automatically added to that list.

  However, even though they may not appear in the invite list, all guests who respond, regardless of whether they were on the original list or not, will be recorded and visible in the reporting section of your event. This way, you can keep track of the total number of attendees, including those who registered through the public event URL.
