Do I really have to put invitee first and last name?

I want to only send out emails, I do not need their first and last name. Do I have to enter that in the invite list?

  Hey! If any of these two fields are left empty, the guests will get an error message upon registration saying that the field is empty, so they won't be able to proceed.  In that case, guests can click the edit name option and enter their names but I believe most of the people won't be able to notice/ do that. If you can, it's better to include that in the invite list. I had to redo the whole thing when I figured that out. Good luck
