Once I hit publish and Invite - does the system send a message to everyone on my imported invitee list or do I need to do an email in order to send out the invite?

  Thank you for sharing your question with the community! No, we will not send email invitations to your guests as soon as you publish your event. 
  
  Once you're ready to invite guests, you will be able to create and design email invitations from the Email section of the platform.
